Short Term Programmes:
UVP organizes Interantional work camps which offers opportunities to youth aged 18 - 25 years. It takes a 1-2 weeks camping where UVP reach out to needy communities where members do the following:
- Renovations (buildings)
- Painting schools
- Moulding Bricks
- Constructions by using local materials
- Talking to communities about HIV / Aids awareness and counseling.
UVP through its partner organizations under the umbrella of ICYE federation with Head office in Berlin, Germany, operates an International Youth Exchange Programme (i.e.) International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE).
This programme favours the youth on (MTVs) and (LTVs) from 3, 6 to 12 months of which a volunteer is placed in a host family for the cultural diversity, learning local language, exposer and meet new friends.
Since 2002, UVP have hosted over 200 volunteers from UK, Austria, Germany, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Finland, Iceland, Sweden, USA, Belgium, Japan, Luxemburg, Nepal and Canada.

UGANDA VOLUNTEERS FOR PEACE (UVP) is Registered as (NGO) in Uganda, and operates as a National Committee for ICYE Federation in Uganda.
